Trailer Sales of Michigan’s 8000 GVWR Wood Floor Car Trailer is constructed with a continuous cold formed 5″ channel frame and tongue with 3″ channel crossmembers on 24″ centers. The main difference between this model and the 7,000 GVWR model is that the axles increase to 4,000 lb. capacity with 6 lugs, and 225/75 R15 load range D Castle Rock radial tires. An adjustable 2 5/16″ coupler, swing up jack, and heavy duty diamond plate fenders with backs are all standard equipment. Stake pockets run full length inside the frame rail between the frame and floor. Lighting is stud mounted with skip spacing reflective tape. We use pressure treated long lasting wood flooring. A dovetail with 5′ cleated loading ramps that slide in to racks under the floor immediately behind the fenders are included.
